Juan Alonso
I first discovered my passion to help others realize and live out their full potential while being a summer camp counselor for children with disabilities. Now, with over a decade of experience being a BCBA, I find working in the Oakland public school system to be the most impactful, enlightening, and rewarding position I have held in my field. I love collaborating with dedicated teachers and supportive caregivers to find what works best for each student.
My work is typically with elementary school students, but my experience allows me to work with individuals from age two to forty-two. Outside of work, you can find me playing softball, at the gym, exploring new restaurants, golfing, and spending quality time with my family and dog, Chance.
